Configure Stripe Payment Settings
How to Automatically Transfer Your Stripe Earnings to Your Bank
nDash uses Stripe to pay freelancers. Stripe does not automatically send funds to your bank unless your payout settings are configured correctly. If your balance appears to be accumulating in Stripe, follow the steps below to enable automatic payouts.
How to Enable Automatic Stripe Payouts
- Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
- Go to Settings → Bank accounts and scheduling.
- Under Payout schedule, select Automatic.
- Choose a payout frequency:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Confirm that a valid, verified bank account is connected.
Once enabled, Stripe will automatically transfer available funds to your bank based on the schedule you choose.
Important Things to Know
- First payout delay: New Stripe accounts often have an initial delay before the first payout is sent. This is a standard Stripe security review. More
- Manual payouts: If your account is set to Manual, funds will remain in Stripe until you trigger a payout yourself.
- Risk-based delays: Some accounts may have longer mandatory holding periods depending on Stripe’s risk assessment.
- Availability vs payout: Funds must first become available in Stripe before they can be paid out. This typically takes a few business days after payment.
- Instant payouts: If eligible, you can manually initiate an Instant Payout to a debit card from the Balances tab in Stripe for faster access.
