How Do I Respond to a Writer Request?
We want brands to find the perfect fit for their content needs on nDash, so there are a number of ways for companies to connect with writers on the platform. The newest feature is a Writer Request.
Like pitch & idea requests, writer requests can be found on your dashboard and in your opportunities under "Open". Open opportunities include open assignments, writer requests, and idea requests.
Unlike idea requests, writer requests are for you to pitch yourself and your experience.
In this example, a brand is looking for writers with practical job experience of or experience writing about environmental health & safety. If you have a resume that includes that experience, head to the company profile!
Take a moment to read over the profile and gather your relevant samples, select "Pitch This Group", then "Application".
We've included some tips on the application form for you: "Let the brand know about your experience, expertise, and info that will help them gauge your fit. If you're responding to a specific request, please address the brand's stated requirements."
Pay attention to the requirements outlined in the Writer Request. Many brands ask for relevant samples to ensure the right fit, and not including them could eliminate you from contention.
